University Class Engagement Form

Spencer Museum staff welcome collaboration with instructors to develop plans for their courses for in-person, remote, or blended experiences. We are continually expanding online resources, including our Curricular Resources Database. To explore our online collection, please visit our Collection Search. Contact Mellon Director of Academic Programs, Celka Straughn (785.864.0136 or straughn@ku.edu), with any questions.

Submit requests at least 3 weeks prior to the requested class engagement whether for the galleries, Goddard and Lee Study Centers, Brosseau Learning Center, or online. Even if you are planning a self-guided session, please fill out the form so that we can ensure adequate space in the galleries.

Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday: 10AM–5PM
Thursday: 10AM–8PM
Saturday and Sunday: 12PM–5PM

Preferred Date

Availability in the Goddard and Lee Study Centers is limited. Staff will be in touch to confirm the day, time, and location of your class visit as well as work with you to determine the selection and availability of the object(s) requested for the Study Centers or Brosseau Learning Center. Staff may limit the number of objects available due to an object’s size or condition as well as space considerations.
