2026 KU Marching Jayhawks Audition Application

A successful brass or woodwind audition includes submitting the New Member Application. Completed applications, including a video, will be accepted until midnight on June 1, 2026.

Colorguard and Drumline have a separate audition process; please refer to the Colorguard or Drumline webpage for more information.

Requirements

All elements must be one continuous, un-edited video
◆ recorded between January 1 and June 1 of 2026
◆ with face, fingers, valves, keys/slides visible at all times

◆ chromatic scale - full range of instrument, lowest to highest you are capable of
◆ KU’s arrangement of the Star Spangled Banner found here
◆ a portion of KU's arrangement of Kansas Song found here
