KU Summer Institute on Inclusive Education

From Inclusion to Rightful Presence Across the Life Span

The purpose of the KU Summer Institute on Inclusive Practices is to support and advocate for inclusive lives for people with complex support needs, or those people who are considered to have “significant disabilities” across the life span and across home, school, and community contexts. The Institute specifically seeks to translate excellence in research into practice, providing attendees with ideas, tools, and strategies to advocate for inclusive lives for themselves and members of their homes, schools, and communities. Participants will engage in interactive discussions.
