Academic Tour Request Form

To request an academic tour (e.g., behind-the-scenes tour of a particular museum collection, such as the ichthyology or herpetology division), please fill out this form.

The KU Natural History Museum offers these behind-the-scenes tours to university instructors and their students throughout the academic year. Areas of the collections that are primarily available for tours led by collection managers or faculty scientists include reptiles and amphibians, fish, birds, paleonotology, mammalogy, and archaeology. Tours of insects, botany, and invertebrate paleontology may also be arranged at the Biodiversity Institute's west campus collections facilities.

Tours should be arranged at least three weeks in advance. Submission of this form does not guarantee an academic tour. You will receive a finalization email from Teri Chambers confirming your tour date, time, and location.
